The Sinuous

The Sinuous is a sculptural wall panel inspired by the quiet movement of natural forces over time. Its carved surface recalls long vertical traces shaped by wind and water, like a refined topography translated into a minimal architectural language. From a distance the panel feels calm and rhythmic, while up close the relief reveals a precise sequence of lines that rise, narrow, and shift across the surface.

The design is built around continuity and tension. Each carved line follows its own path, sometimes approaching the next one, sometimes moving away, creating a controlled sense of movement. This gives the piece a strong visual identity while keeping it balanced and elegant, with shadows that change throughout the day and make the wall feel more alive.

Designed by an architect and handcrafted in Italy, each piece is made with the mastery of an artisan with more than 50 years of experience in fine woodworking. The carving is developed with attention to proportion, depth, and rhythm, then refined by hand to preserve a clean surface and a precise tactile quality.

This black edition is made in Valchromat black, chosen for its consistent tone through the material and for the sharp result it gives in carving. The dark finish enhances contrast and makes the relief more architectural, while still keeping a warm handmade presence.

The textured surface can also help soften sound reflections by breaking up flat wall areas. Results depend on the room and placement, but the piece is always first of all a sculpture designed to elevate the wall.

Choose a single panel or a combo from the dropdown. The combo options allow you to create a wider composition while keeping the same carved language and visual continuity.
