Shells Iroko Round Wall Sculpture

Shells is a round iroko wall sculpture inspired by the natural geometry of seashells. Curved ribs overlap and open into deeper pockets, creating an organic relief that feels calm from a distance and richly layered up close.

The circular format concentrates the movement of the pattern and allows light to travel continuously across the surface. As daylight changes, the carved ridges cast shifting shadows and reveal new relationships between depth, grain and form.

Designed by architect Edoardo Cavallaro and made in Italy in collaboration with Angelo, an artisan with more than fifty years of woodworking experience, each sculpture begins with selected iroko logs prepared in the squareoff workshop. After the initial carving, every edge and recess is refined by hand. Natural variations make each piece unique.

Shells is available in round diameters from 60 to 120 cm. A high-purity acrylic varnish and natural oil protect the wood, while the reinforced wooden shipping crate and included mounting hardware ensure that the sculpture arrives ready to hang.
