The Wave

WAVE black ash is a handcrafted circular wall sculpture carved in blackened solid ash wood. Flowing lines rise and fall across the surface like wind shaped water, creating an organic topography that feels calm from a distance and richly detailed up close. As natural light changes during the day, the relief casts new shadows and the piece feels alive on the wall.

Designed by an architect and crafted in Italy, each sculpture is made with the mastery of an artisan with more than 50 years of experience in fine woodwork. The composition is developed with an architectural eye for balance and rhythm, then carved and refined until every curve reads clean and intentional.

The carved texture can also help soften a room by reducing harsh reflections and echo, depending on placement and the materials already present in the space. If you have a specific room, we can suggest the best position and height to enhance both the visual effect and the comfort of the space.

The surface is protected with a high purity acrylic varnish and completed with a thin coat of natural oil, making cleaning simple over time. Select your size from the dropdown. Your sculpture ships in a reinforced wooden crate for maximum protection and arrives ready to hang with hardware included. Please make sure the wall is suitable for the support hook and use the correct anchors for plasterboard or lightweight walls.
