Walnut Totems Uplift

Walnut Totems Uplift is a sculptural wall panel that combines warm walnut grain with a deep black relief. The design is built around a U shaped form made of repeated arcs that tighten and open like a rhythm, while a solid semicircle anchors the composition at the base. The result feels graphic and minimal from a distance, yet rich and tactile up close.

The idea behind this piece is elevation and balance. The nested arcs suggest movement rising upward, almost like a modern totem carved into the surface. Light plays a key role. As daylight shifts, the relief creates new shadows inside the grooves and the panel changes throughout the day.

Designed by an architect and handcrafted in Italy with the mastery of an artisan with more than 50 years of experience in fine woodwork, each panel is finished by hand to keep the lines clean, the contrast sharp, and the surface durable.

Finish and care
The surface is protected with a very pure acrylic varnish, helping preserve the artwork over time and making cleaning simple.
