Wave Bubinga

Wave bubinga is a circular wall sculpture carved from solid bubinga wood. The relief is shaped like a quiet current, with irregular waves that rise and soften across the surface. From a distance it reads as a calm, minimal presence. Up close it reveals depth, grain, and a warm movement that feels almost geological.

The design is an interpretation of water and wind, not as an illustration but as a texture you can live with. The waves are intentionally imperfect, so the piece never feels mechanical. Light is part of the artwork. As daylight moves, the carved ridges create new shadows and the sculpture changes throughout the day, becoming more dramatic or more subtle depending on the angle and the room.

Designed by an architect and handcrafted in Italy, each piece is made with the mastery of an artisan with more than 50 years of experience in fine woodwork. We start from carefully selected timber and refine the carving and finishing by hand to keep the relief clean and tactile while respecting the character of the wood.

Bubinga is chosen for its rich tone and striking natural grain. Every sculpture is one of a kind, shaped by the wood itself and by the way light reacts to the carved surface.

The textured relief can help soften sound reflections by breaking up flat wall areas. Results depend on the room and placement, but the piece remains first of all a sculpture designed to elevate the wall.

Finish and care
The surface is protected with a high purity acrylic varnish and completed with a thin coat of natural oil, helping it stay durable and easy to clean over time.

Your sculpture ships in a reinforced wooden crate for maximum protection and arrives ready to hang with hardware included. Please make sure the wall is suitable for the support hook and use the correct anchors for your wall type.
